Delete your account

Option 1 — In the app

If the in-app deletion flow is available in your version of Farts with Friends:

1. Open the app and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you don't see this option, use Option 2 below.

Option 2 — Email support

Send an email to support@fartswithfriends.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." Include your username so we can locate the correct account.

We may verify your request by replying to the email on file before proceeding.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, username, email, profile image).
• Your audio recordings, titles, and descriptions.
• Your friends, groups, invitations, and social connections tied to your account.
• Your ratings, reactions, and leaderboard entries where technically feasible.
• Your notification preferences and device tokens.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or backup reasons, and will be deleted once those purposes are fulfilled. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to you may also be retained.

Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within [DATA RETENTION DETAILS — confirm processing window before launch]. Backups may be retained for a limited additional period before being overwritten.
