Farts with Friends is meant to be silly, social, and welcoming. These guidelines apply to every recording, title, description, group, and interaction on the Service.
1. The spirit of the app
Make people laugh. Play with your friends. Keep it kind. If something you're about to post would humiliate, endanger, or expose someone, don't post it.
2. What's welcome
- Harmless jokes and creative audio.
- Recordings shared with the consent of everyone involved.
- Friendly competition on leaderboards.
- Good-natured sharing inside groups and with friends.
3. What's not allowed
- Recording or sharing people without required consent.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted humiliation.
- Hate speech or discriminatory content.
- Sexual, exploitative, or otherwise adult content.
- Content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation (reported to authorities).
- Doxxing or sharing personal information without consent.
- Impersonation or fraud.
- Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of others' work.
- Illegal activity of any kind.
- Dangerous challenges or content that encourages self-harm.
- Spam, manipulated ratings, or leaderboard cheating.
- Evading moderation, suspensions, or bans.
4. Reporting
If you see something that breaks these rules, report it. Use the in-app report control where available or email support@fartswithfriends.com. Include the username, recording title, and any relevant context.
5. Enforcement
Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may:
- Remove the content.
- Warn the account.
- Restrict features (posting, ratings, discovery).
- Temporarily suspend the account.
- Permanently terminate the account.
- Report to law enforcement where required.
6. Appeals
If you believe a decision was made in error, contact support@fartswithfriends.com with your account and the action you'd like to appeal. We'll take another look.
